This International Society for the Study of Individual Differences (ISSID) Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) applies to all information ISSID learns about or obtains from you when you visit the ISSID website (the “Site”) and contains information on processing the personal data of the website users as well as other data subjects whose data are processed by ISSID.
ISSID is committed to ensuring that your privacy and the privacy of your personal data is protected.
ISSID may modify this Policy from time to time, effective immediately upon posting to the Site or such other period as required by applicable law. Your continued access or use of the Site constitutes your acceptance of the provisions of the then-current Policy. The current Policy applies to all information gathered or obtained about you at any time.
Processing personal data
ISSID operates worldwide and aims at compliance with all valid regulations in all countries ISSID operates in, especially regarding processing of personal data, including EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

ISSID collects and processes individual personal data for the legitimate interests of ISSID, including the proper administration of this website, customer service, promotion of ISSID offerings and managing membership of members.

To comply with the rule of limited time of data processing ISSID has adopted a retention policy according to which all membership data will be deleted three years after the end of one’s membership. Other data will be deleted immediately after the purpose for which they were processed has been achieved.
ISSID does not share your personally identifiable information with third parties, except as described below:

With third parties that perform functions on ISSID’s behalf, such as maintaining and operating the Site and its content. ISSID does not allow such third parties to use your information for other purposes;

Under GDPR each data subject has the right to demand access to their personal data, to correct them, erase them or limit their processing or object to them being processed by ISSID, as well as to transfer the data to a different controller. Each data subject is also entitled to file a complaint against the controller to relevant data protection office. Sharing the personal data with ISSID is not obligatory but may be necessary for ISSID to run certain processes such as granting a membership. ISSID does not automatically profile data subjects whose data ISSID is processing.
Cookies
ISSID collects cookies on our Web site to capture information about page visits, ensure safety of the web site, track advertising effectiveness to provide a more relevant service and deliver better ads to suit user interests, remember choices users make and to facilitate use of the web site. This information is anonymous and ISSID uses this information only internally.
