ISSID
Summer Schools

ISSID Summer Schools for graduate students (master’s or PhD level) are conducted by experts in the field. They refer to specialized topics, programs or courses in personality and individual differences psychology that are not typically covered in standard universities’ programs and are offered immediately before each ISSID biennial conference.
They are designed to enhance participants’ research skills, broaden their academic horizons, stimulate new research, or provide international networking opportunities for building professional relationships and establishing connections within the academic community.
Summer Schools also create opportunities for experts and society. For example, experts might identify new talents and propose mentoring or future long-term collaboration; society might strengthen international bonds among personality and individual differences researchers across generations or promote joint large-scale projects involving experienced and early-stage scientists.
Professor Dan Jones (University of Nevada, Reno) is currently the ISSID Summer School Director.
