The future of individual differences research is in the hands of early career researchers (ECRs). Here at ISSID, we are passionate about amplifying ECR voices and celebrating the incredible work being carried out by our global community.

Whether you are completing your PhD, working as a postdoctoral researcher, or taking your first steps into an academic or applied role, your insights and achievements are shaping the direction of our field. To recognise and showcase this important work, we are launching the

ECR Spotlight Series.

This initiative provides a platform for ECRs worldwide to share their research, highlight their journeys, and inspire others navigating the early stages of their careers. We invite you to contribute by submitting:

  • A quote about your journey, research, or advice for fellow ECRs

  • A photo (high-resolution if possible, though phone photos are welcome)

  • A link to your research (an article, project, or presentation you’d like us to feature)

Selected submissions will be featured on the ISSID website and across our social media platforms, offering valuable visibility within the international individual differences community.

If you would like to be featured, please complete the short submission form here: Submit your details via Qualtrics

We look forward to celebrating the diverse contributions of ECRs and sharing your stories with the world.
